Jessica Is Tony's Greatest Cheerleader

Happier personally and professionally than she's been in a long time, Jessica Simpson tells PEOPLE that boyfriend Tony Romo is her "perfect guy."
"I just told him today, 'You're the love of my life,' " she confesses in the latest cover story. "I don't really ever say that to anybody."

Simpson, 28 (as is Dallas Cowboys quarterback Romo), also co-wrote a song for her man, "You're My Sunday" and, in a true modern-day sign of devotion, changed her cell phone number and e-mail address to cut off any potential communication from her exes.

"I don't want anybody that's been in my life [before] in my life anymore," she says. "I don't even want them to have any way of contacting me."

Romo hasn't done the same, but Simpson brushes it off. "I'm not a jealous girlfriend," she says – even though in a recent interview his ex, Carrie Underwood, claims she still hears from him.

As for her own onetime relationship with John Mayer – which began in 2006 and fizzled out last summer – Simpson survived its rockiness by doing some self-appraisal afterwards.

"I had to regain self-esteem and self-value," she says.

Snake charming festival in India

In Bishnupure, India, every year in December a festival is being held, where people charm and play with their poisonous snakes.

The charmers start playing an instrument and the serpents simply get hypnotised and start swaying out of their baskets. They never strike and the tamers often go as far as kissing the creatures on their heads. They start handling the snakes, playing with them and dare the audience to touch them. Of course nobody ever does. Would you?

Lochmusterschal "Hadia " Teil 2

... heute Morgen kam der 2. Teil des Hadia-Schals. Am späten Nachmittag habe ich mich rangesetzt und weitergestrickt, will ja auf dem Laufenden sein *grins*. Ich habe wieder nur knapp 10 Minuten gebraucht. Also wenn das so weitergeht, dann ist das ein super einfach zu strickender Schal. Auf die Fortsetzung am kommenden Montag bin ich schon sehr gespannt.

Besuch im Zoo mit Nachwuchs

Heute haben wir einen Ausflug in den Arche Noah-Zoo Braunschweig gemacht. Dort gab´s ein paar Tierbabys zu sehen. da wären einmal 3 Tigerbabys, 1 Affenbaby, 1 Eselbaby, mehrere kleine Ziegen. Nur leider kriegt man nicht alle auf´s Bildchen. Aber schön war´s doch!

Kaffee_und_Wollrausch_Swap der 11.

Ich habe gestern meine Swappartnerin erhalten und freue mich sehr darauf *SIE* bewichteln zu können/dürfen. Das macht richtig Spaß und süchtig! *schäm*

Meine Kaffeewichtelfee hat sich auch schon bei mir gemeldet und möchte, dass ich ein paar Dinge hier schreibe. Also, dann will ich mal ein wenig, ganz kurz und knapp ...

1. Ich trinke sehr gern Kaffee, am meisten als Latte Macchiato, Cappuccino, aber auch mal Espresso.
2. Bevorzugt werden bei uns die Bohnen Tchibo "Caffé Crema", Tchibo Privat Kaffee "Brazil Mild" oder Esspressopulver von Lavazza "Crema e Gusto - gusto dolce". Wir probieren aber gern auch mal eine neue Sorte aus. Diese sollte aber für Kaffeevollautomaten geeignet und besonders cremig sein.
3. Ich mag für den Latte Macchiato gern diese Kaffeearomen oder -zusätze, am liesten nussig, irisch, oder aber auch mal ein leckeres Gebäck (wie z.B. Kekse) dazu.
4. An Wolle bevorzuge ich Sockenwolle in der üblichen Zusammensetzung 75/25%. Wobei ich die Opalwolle ablehne. Die mag ich gar nicht.
5. Meine Lieblingsfarbe ist Blau. Es darf aber auch kunterbunt oder blau mit anderen Farbkombis sein. Dabei ist egal, ob geringelt, gepunktet, getigert, etc. Nur Schwarz-, Braun- oder Neonfarben - das mag ich absolut nicht.
6. Ich bin eine (aber nur kleine) Naschkatze. Wenn ich denn mal nasche, dann am liebsten die goldene Kugel, Giotto, Vollmilchschoki mit Marzipan oder Lakritze.
7. Ich sammele Schafe, als Figuren, Postkarten, Kerzen, etc. Und gerade bin ich dabei, mir die Herde aus den Ü-eiern zu ergattern. Hatte aber bis jetzt nur 1x Erfolg.

Snake, Man's Best Friend

Koun Samang is a 7-yer-old boy from Cambodia who has a big snake as his best friend.





The snake named Chomran, which means "lucky" in Khmer, is a 20 ft long python who apparently loves giving his human buddy big hugs. A possible reason of their great relationship is their age, which is the same. One might think that at the age of 7 two different individuals would share the same interests.

Yoda was just a kitten when a Chicago couple saw him being passed around a bar, where drinkers were amazed by his extra ears. It was love at first sight. The four-eared feline gained fame after he was featured in an Aug. 19 newspaper article.
